Big Data expert expands main incubator’s management

With the appointment of Ryan Grenier as the third managing director of main incubator, Commerzbank further strengthens its research and development unit and boosts its activities in the areas of big data, artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Since December 1, 2018 Ryan Grenier has expanded the management of main incubator. Born in the United States, Grenier was previously General Manager at Amazon Web Services and Chief Marketing Officer at the cloud company Rackspace. In his previous positions in both enterprises and start-ups, Grenier gained valuable experience in building and scaling new data-based business models.

In his new role, Grenier together with colleagues from Commerzbank’s Big Data and Advanced Analytics (BDAA) division will identify potential use cases of big data, artificial intelligence and Internet of Things with the objective of promoting the development of innovative solutions. The main focus is the improvement of the customer experience and interaction based on these.
